The largest of the flatfish, Halibut is lean and has a mild, sweet tasting white flesh.
It’s thicker and firmer than Cod.
Because the flavour is so gentle, Halibut pairs well with bolder seasonings like pesto, lemon juice and basil.
Individual fillet steak (140g-150g) of wild caught Halibut, filleted and then frozen in-house by the BH Fish team.
Every effort is made to remove all bones, but some may still remain.
Our frozen Halibut can be kept in your freezer for up to 3 months.
Once defrosted, do not refreeze and eat within 24 hours.
